Great kit, December 7, 2011 Amazon Verified Purchase This is a great kit for me since I was looking for something more than a point and shoot, but smaller than a DSLR. The 14-42mk2 and 40-150 lenses are very small and lightweight, yet provide excellent image quality. The 40-150 is a little soft at the long end, but remains quite impressive. With these tow lenses, I did not lack for my desired focal lengths.
The camera itself produces excellent images. The jpegs are especially impressive. If you want great pictures out of camera, no post processing, the Olympus Pens are a great choice. The body is small and could fit in a jacket pocket or purse easily. However, it will not fit with a lens, unless you have big pockets and a pancake lens attached.
The menus are decent. They won't blow you away, but you shouldn't have a problem navigating them.
Button layout is good and the lcd is very nice. I prefer using a viewfinder, but find that the LCD works quite well even in daylight conditions.

Excellent camera and one I will keep for years, January 25, 2012 I am an amateur photographer (a member of my local camera club) and an avid camper/hiker/canoer/outdoorsy type. My primary interests in photography are wildlife and landscapes, although I will occasionally do architecture (esp. ruins) and every day people shots. I bought this camera + two-lens kit directly from Olympus during their 2011 summer sale, and I have to say I am extremely happy I decided on this purchase (I was considering a Nikon D7000 and others at that point). It was $900 when I bought it (taxes/shipping incl.), so this is a great price considering what you get.
The image quality (IQ) is incredible and has astounded my professional photographer friends time and time again. My mom and sister both own a photography business, and both shoot with expensive, high-end, much larger Nikon DSLRs. Two other friends, who are top-notch (international award-winning) photographers - who shoot with various DSLR cameras from Cannon and Nikon - are also in the same 'boat',... Read more

Picture not PEN E-PL2, August 19, 2011 By Olympus PEN E-PL2 12.3 MP Digital Camera from Adorama. This is a picture of the PEN E-PL1. And they show the original 40-150mm lens. Additional images show the PEN E-PL2 and the newer 40-150mm M.Zuiko lens. Which camera and lens is being sold here? I would certainly buy the PEN E-PL2 two lens system at this price, but I don't believe that this is it.
